I Don’t Want to Go to Mexico

I don’t want to go to Mexico
No more, more, more.

There’s a big fat policeman
At my door, door, door.

He grabbed me by the collar,
He made me pay a dollar,

I don’t want to go to Mexico
No more, more, more.

History:

Written in jest in Chicago in 1987, this rhyme is one of the newest in our list. It is a hand-clapping song meant to be fun an whimsical. When read a different way, it shows the turmoil the United States immigration problems.
